Overview

A fantastic museum with lots to see. Nice spacious building. As you enter the museum there is a very nice platform lift to take you to the reception area. Once in, there is plenty space, lifts are a good size and the exhibits and information are at a good height for wheelchairs. For people with visual impairments there are large print versions of the text for the exhibits. The accessible toilets were a good size.

Transport & Parking

There are buses that pass by the door but i am unsure which service is provided as we arrived by foot. I could not see any accessible parking.

Access

There is good access and spacious lifts. The entrance has a platform lift to get you to the reception area.

Toilets

The accessible loos are adequate.

Staff

Had very little dealings with staff but certainly found staff friendly and helpful enough.

Really enjoyed my trip to the museum and would certainly go back again. Definitely worth a visit.
