We're delighted to be taking part in Disabled Access Day 2017.  

At Eureka! we’ll be offering a half hour interactive science-y show called Gross Lab on both days.  The show will be free and visitors will need to book on arrival. On Saturday 11th March, we’ll also be providing a trained BSL interpreter, who will interpret Gross Lab and also offer general “floating” signing support around the museum. She’ll be easily identified by her BSL interpreter teeshirt. 

A reminder to visitors that we have a Changing Places facility on site which is for the use of visitors and non visitors alike.  Our front of house team have received inclusion training and many have additional basic sign skills and understanding autism training. We will fast track visitors with autism or similar disabilities, if the queue is too long to wait.  Also, we have a quiet space on site for visitors who may experience sensory overload and we also loan out ear defenders.  Just ask at the information desk for all of the above!
