Venue Description

Ferndale Community Sports Centre is a leisure centre in the heart of Brixton. Facilities include two hard courts (Lined with tennis, netball, basketball, and football markings) four seven aside outdoor 3G pitches, and one exercise studios.

Fitness classes and court and pitch bookings are available on a casual basis to both members and non-members. There are also specific sessions for those older than 55, disabled individuals, and females. We also work with a range of partners to deliver sports and activities such as football, indoor rowing, and netball.

Accessibility

The surrounding streets have dropped curbs. The centre is all on one level and there are gentle slopes, with handrails, to access the courts and pitches. The main entrance has double, automatic doors and interior of the building has wide walkways, clear of obstacles

Our accessible toilet is wide enough for wheelchairs, have handrails at the correct height, low level utilities, and emergency cords
