Visible Cinema: Encounters Pride Shorts (15)
Visible Cinema is GFT’s Deaf and Hard of Hearing friendly film programme. Featuring a captioned or subtitled screening followed by a post-film discussion with integrated BSL and on-screen Speech to Text Service.
For this Pride month, Visible Cinema is delighted to screen Encounters Queer Joy film programme, a selection of shorts celebrating the moments of joy that members of the LGBTQI+ community are often denied on and off screen. These films envision a world in which people can freely explore the wider range of their own identities. We will be joined by Eleanor Capaldi (she/her). A Glasgow based writer/director with an interest in queer storytelling.
This screening is presented in partnership with Encounters Film Festival.
