Overview

Large restaurant and bakery with lots of quirky decor and fantastic cakes. Conveniently has a bus stop right outside and a wide ramp into the building.

Transport & Parking

Transport is excellent as Lothian Buses 22 and 35 both come right to the door of Mimi's! Parking is a bit more tricky however and it might be difficult to find spaces nearby.

Access

Entry into the building is good, although the main doors are not automatic. If it is busy there is often a queue of people right at the entrance waiting to be seated. Once inside there are lots of tables and chairs with moveable seats, great for wheelchair users. If you are just in to take some cakes away however, be aware that the counter is higher than you would find in most pubs and bars!

Toilets

There was an accessible toilet but I didn't use it so can't comment.

Staff

Staff are always very friendly in Mimi's and will offer you a very warm welcome.

Really great cakes, but very busy cafe. I would recommend booking ahead at weekends.
