3 Cottages Suitable for all ages and abilities. Our spacious, comfortable, and well equipped self-catering bungalows offer a high standard of accommodation, assuring you of a wonderful holiday or short break in Yorkshire. Each has 3 bedrooms - 2 twin and 1 double with en-suite wet room, family bathroom, lounge with colour TV, DVD, video player and radio. Well equipped, large dining kitchen. All properties have full central heating. patio and garden furniture. Open grass area to the exterior of the cottages is ideal for barbecues, relaxing or a great game of football. The cottages are fully wheelchair accessible and can accommodate guests of all abilities with level access to all areas. Perfect for families,(grandparents included) couples or friends looking for that ideal location from which to explore Yorkshire and all it has to offer. Along side we have a one bedroomed cottage annex to our own home offering a for 2 people cosy and comfortable, a perfect getaway for two people. (Cane users only as there are steps to the cottage and shower) Easily accessible from the A1, M1 and M62 motorways ensuring you are never far from amazing attractions, stunning scenery, spectacular shopping, history, culture, outstanding outdoor activities whatever you're looking for, you can be sure it isn't too far from our doorstep. Historic York is only a 15 minute drive away but don't drive into the city, take advantage of the park and ride service at York's Designer Outlet (but leave enough time to visit the Outlet and bag that designer bargain!). The North Yorkshire Moors and east coast resorts are all within 1-1-1/2 hrs drive. with the undiscovered Yorkshire Wolds much nearer. We are none smoking, Pets are welcome by arrangement .

Accessibility

The single story properties have been built to offer fully accessible accommodation to those with mobility needs. All doors are 82cm wide, light switches are at a convenient height the decor throughout is neutral and all rooms are well lit through natural light and with good electric lighting. Water and full central heating are via a gas combi boiler, each cottage has an electric shower and fire for emergency use. Wired smoke alarms, and carbon monoxide detectors add to your safety. Large kitchen with ample space for independent wheel chair users We have a low level work surface which is 71 cm high, a portable 2 ring hot plate and kettle are available to use on here if required, this is in addition to all the facilities one would expect in a self catering property . The dining table is 63cm high, but can be raised to allow wheelchair access , the dining table seats 6 Hall at its narrowest point is 143cm wide giving ample room to manoeuvre as well as direct access to patio area. Lounge has a three piece suite and occasional table which can be moved if needed TV DVD Radio CD player complete your entertainment Bedrooms 3 bedrooms 2 two twins and a double have the usual bedroom requirements, sheets, and bedding are supplied as standard. Bathrooms Pound cottage has a seating area either side of the bath the taps being in the centre. Copper Cottage has a traditional bath with a shower over bath, Crown Cottage is a full size wet room with the benefit of a slipper bath ideal for children ALL COTTAGES have a wet room en-suite to the double bedroom. Grounds. The cottages are surrounded by lawn which can be accessed by a small ramp to a paved area, Garden furniture and BBQ are available. Additional information, We are open all year, the property is none smoking, additional equipment is available if required just let us know your requirements.
