A new multi-sensory adventure play about finding light in the darkest places by Tuck Shop.

Peta studies insects. It’s her thing. In fact she’s a world famous entomologist. You’ve heard of her right? She regularly appears on the front cover of Insects Weekly!
But Peta’s world is crumbling. Changes in the weather and eco systems are threatening the survival of the creatures she studies and the friend she always turns to in times of trouble has mysteriously disappeared.

All alone and feeling powerless Peta sets sail on an epic adventure rescue mission including a hungry polar bear, luminous fish and a severe lack of sandwiches.
Using movement, puppetry and rich visuals, 1001 Fireflies is a new multi-sensory theatre experience made for young people with complex needs and/or multiple disabilities to be enjoyed with their family and friends... but it really is for everyone!
