Sensory Friendly

A more relaxed way to enjoy the museum
Come along to our Sensory Friendly Sessions and visit the museum free from large crowds. This event is suitable for anyone who needs a quieter environment to get the most out of their visit (such as people with autism spectrum conditions or sensory processing differences).

What you can expect

Wherever possible, small changes will be made to reduce anxiety and stress, such as lowering volume levels in the galleries. There will be no queues or planned tannoy announcements; ear defenders and additional staff will be on-hand for support.

What you can do

Explore the Scottish Design Galleries and Mary Quant and relax in the quiet areas if you need to take a break.

What you need to know

Tickets are free. In addition to exclusive early access to the museum, admission to Mary Quant is included. Please book one ticket per person attending. If you have any questions about the event, please contact access@vandadundee.org
