Venue Description
The Point in Doncaster boasts a large, light-filled contemporary gallery space with a regularly changing exhibition programme. Entry to the gallery is always free because we want to share the art on show to as many people as possible. The Point regularly hosts a range of creative workshops for all including adults and children with disabilities. Our cafe serves a range of home cooked lunches and cakes. We also have a pretty gallery garden and walled courtyard for visitors to enjoy. The Point is a fully accessible building with a Changing Place facility with hoist, adjustable toilet, sink and full sized changing bed. Staff are Makaton trained and we are a Makaton Friendly Venue.Accessibility
There is an automatic door with an access ramp for wheelchair access. There is also a lift which is accessible for wheelchair and non-wheelchair users, although it requires a staff keycard to use. We have a Changing Places facility.
