Overview

The staff across the event went out of their way to make sure we were as comfortable as possible. Coleen, Ian and teams thank you! We were really impressed how they also took on board any comments (some implemented overnight!). The only reason why it doesn't make a 10 is the pretty large distance from the bus to the Main stage, and small distance between bus and King Tuts. For us in a power chair, the journey from the bus to the Main Stage was very bumpy and pretty uncomfortable so we didn't repeat it after the Friday night. It would be fantastic if there could be some form of path there.

Transport & Parking

4

There is dedicated disabled parking for those going for the day, and also parking in the disabled camping area. Both are close to the site entrance, but the disabled camping area is a good deal closer.

Access

4

Those with disabled access tickets can also use the bus to get between the platforms. The only note of caution is some of the buses' ramps are quite narrow and steep. Radio 1 stage viewing platform has the easiest access, being just beside the bus stop. King Tuts is reasonable although requires some travel along a path. Main stage requires quite a stretch across grass/stony path to get to it from the bus.

Toilets

Facilities are very good given the circumstances. Large portaloos provided.

Staff

5

Staff are absolutely tremendous and make the trip. At check in at the special needs reception, staff are keen to do whatever they can. Ian and team at the campsite were great and prepared to take on any suggestions as to how to improve access further. Coleen and her team (customer service) were also fantastic. We had at least one helper at the end of the night making sure we got back from the stage we were at to our parking spot. We were even offered blankets when it cooled a bit at night on the saturday!

Anything else you wish to tell us?

Organisers have made every effort to make T in the Park as accessible as possible. There are disabled access viewing platforms at the Main stage, Radio 1 stage and in King Tuts tent. All have great views but we thought Radio 1 and King Tuts were best!
