Transport & Parking

The hotel is not accessible through public transport. The parking for the wedding venues is a walking distance from the closest disabled parking space. The main hotel has disability parking beside the main entrance, however these are often busy. The hotel offers a valet service if a guest requires to be left at the main entrance.

Access

Each entrance to the hotel has no steps or threshold for wheelchair users. However access between different areas of the hotel needs improving. For example to access the main area of the restaurant a person is unable to access through the hotel and must go outside the use the main entrance to the restaurant which takes 5 minutes to walk round therefore could take a while for a wheelchair user. Gaining access to wedding venues requires being pushed up a slight hill which some guests may be unable to carry out themselves. The doors in the Great Hall and Renanisaance Suite are too heavy for wheelchair users to push themselves and navigate through the doors.

Toilets

Toilets are accessible in all areas of the hotel, however a number of the doors are very heavy and a number of people could struggle with this when trying to gain access.

Staff

Staff throughout the hotel are extremely helpful with any difficulties a guest may have. Many members of staff from each department will often think of solutions to a problem.
