Overview

Our family and 1,000s of others need a changing place facility , with over head trackhoist and adult sized changing table. Sadly the architects for Gloucester Services didn't read BS 8300:2009 Design of buildings and their approaches to meet the needs of disabled people which recommends Changing Places ( CP) in all major public buildings including motorway services. We have had cooperation and assistance with over 700 facilities in zoos, shopping centres, airports, parks, even encouragement from Princess Anne and the Duke of Westminster ( Liverpool One) . Currently lacking, a CP in Gloucester Services would assist so many families visiting Gloucester and travelling down the M5, a quick visit to the loo that we take for granted, without a CP, many families are truly marooned at home. Beyond this, I cannot say more about the building, as without a CP, we cannot visit.
