Overview

I stayed at the Hampton by Hilton hotel in Blackpool. My overall experience was excellent. The staff were friendly and the accessible wet room was one of the most accessible rooms I have stayed in.

Transport & Parking

The parking overall was good. Unfortunately you did have to pay for parking. There were free parking spaces in the street but we did have to move the car a few times.

Access

The overall access to the venue was nice and smooth. It was easy to get around and there were lots of staff to offer support when needed. There were lifts and the building was nice and flat. It was a nice modern hotel with lots of lighting and plenty of space so I did not feel overwhelmed.

All staff were friendly, positive and really helpful.

As somebody with a medical and mobility disability that requires a disabled toilet/accessible changing room, the space was nice and big, which meant that I was able to attend to my medical needs without support/independently.
