Overview
This is a brand new whisky distillery that opened at the end of 2017. This distillery is only a short 15 minute walk from where I live so it is somewhere I try to visit often when I get the chance. It has a lovely cafe, gift shop, visitors centre and it’s own legacy bar as well. It is a beautiful distillery in a beautiful location. They often hold special events such as Burns supper, Christmas parties, Halloween banquets etc and have facilities to offer privately booked parties/functions as well. You can book distillery tours to see how the whisky is distilled and stores and they offer tasting sessions as well. It is fully accessible as well.
Transport & Parking
There is plenty parking on the onsite car park, and disabled parking spaces right at the entrance
Access
Excellent disabled access. Fully accessible, the legacy bar is located in another building across the grounds of the distillery but there is a lift that can take you up to the legacy bar as well.
Toilets
There is an accessible toilet on site
Staff
The staff are all very friendly and extremely helpful and welcoming
