Overview
Lotherton Hall is a great place for people of all ages and is very accesible for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. There were numerous wheelchairs and mobility scooters in use on the day i visited. The grounds are very flat and there are lovely garden areas with children's play equiptment and picnic benches. The bird garden is currently undergoing re furbishment to enhance the facillities for the birds. However, this does not spoil the walk round the bird garden which is very nice. The paths round the bird garden are wheelchair friendly. The restaurant is lovely serving a variety of food and beverages and the courtyard outside is a nice place to sit if the sun is shining. Opposite the courtyard are the toilets one of which is accessible for wheelchairs. A great place to go if the weather is good and a reasonable price too!
Transport & Parking
The venues car park is situated near the gardens but it is quite a walk through the gardens to the resturant and bird garden area.
Access
The grounds are very flat and there are plenty of benches in the gadens and in the bird garden to sit and rest.
Toilets
The toilets are situated in a very central position although there is only one
Staff
I did not have much interaction with staff but in the restaurant they were very helpful and polite.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
