Overview
The National Coal Mining Museum offers impeccable facilities that meets the requirements of every individual within their presence. There are many grab/hand rails placed around the establishment providing support for those who may struggle with balance or mobility. The food within the canteen was delicious and the staff were very friendly and on hand for any enquiries. All of the machines and equipment are easily usable and interactive for all age types ranging from buttons that loudly commentate information, to play grounds and resources for young children.

There are many parking spaces for disabilities that are easily accessible at the rear entrance, facing the main door.

There are large doors and hallways providing a spacious pathway for those who are disabled or require a little more support or room.

Staff
The staff were very friendly and helpful, paying lots of attention to their customers and providing 'on hand' support to those who required it.
