Overview

Everything went smoothly. It was easy to get to from the bus stop which was The Lyceum Theatre and about a 5-10 minute walk from there. The number 2 bus stops right outside it though. The choreography was really great, everything came together nicely. The venue was nice and spacious. It was almost like a nightclub area where they had hard floors and a stage built at the front and they had benches and seats with a back rest. The seats at the front were for those who wanted interaction. The actors picked people at the front row on the benches. There was a bed on stage. It was a great layout and the decorations and strobing was cool. Wouldn't recommend it for people with epilepsy however! It was like being in ATIK with the loud music and strobing lights which I loved. Lots of nudity too so probably not for those under 18! It was really great to have watched it as a film and then as a theatre. I would definitely go again, they're performing in October in Glasgow so I may get a group of people to go and see that. It's a laugh as well as having serious bits.

Transport & Parking

2

I got there by bus, and got off at The Lyceum theatre. With it being a main road there isn't much parking facilities. There weren't any parking facilities outside the EICC so if you were going there by car I'd recommend parking at The Lyceum theatre car park. Or taking the bus and getting the number 2 which should take you directly there.

Access

Smooth sailing going in. There's a lift and two toilets which are male and female and a disabled toilet which is quite spacious and has a baby changing station. There were steps going down to the venue but there was a lift and an escalator. There were seats upstairs and as you come into the doors there's a seating area/ cafe area where you can sit. It was fairly well signposted to get to the specific auditorium. No alternative formats.

Toilets

There was a male and female toilet and an accessible/ baby changing loo. It would fit a walker and wheelchair. It has hand rails and the emergency cord.

Staff

Very helpful, went above and beyond. They showed us to our seats.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

People weren't wearing masks but they did have hand sanitising stations that you could go to as you were going in and going out.
