Cosy accessible cottage

Overview
Fully accessible with level entry, smooth floors and wet room. Only deducted half a star for tied up alarm cords (all three) and rugs (which are a difficulty for me as someone who walks with crutches - just something to take care with).
Transport & Parking
There are bus routes not too far away but it's a fair walk down the farm drive to the cottage. So driving a necessity really. There's a designated disabled space reserved outside the cottage.
Access
The walk from car to cottage was a short one and it's level. The path and patio are flagstone- whilst broadly level, care is needed if walking because of potential for slips in wet. The front door is incredibly stiff and awkward - I think it needs some attention - so was a job for my carer. Inside floors are either laminate/wood or stone. The rugs either side of the bed need non slip backs - they can move if you get out of bed at the wrong angle. Just take care. There's a large rug in the living room.
Toilets
Wet room has a loo, shower, grab rails and two basins (one lowered). Tilled floor. Only problem was the room got very hot - essential to open window. Well equipped. However, alarm cord inaccessible as tied up.
Staff
Always helpful and friendly.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
This cottage sleeps three in two bedrooms plus there's a sofa bed. It's well equipped and comfortable for two to three but possible a bit tight for more. Beds super comfy and cottage very clean throughout. Recommended.
