Overview

I was part of a charity group eating in the pub. The pub itself was very busy and in my opinion not suitable for wheelchair users. Its a pavement enterance with no steps which was great. We were sat in the booth on the left of the door. Getting in with the chair was a challenge and when people needed the toilet I had to move everytime which caused issues. I was told the toilets were down a winding staircase so thank god I never needed. I cannot eat adult meals due to my disabilities and as such I'm used to eating from the children's menu and have NEVER had a refusal. Unfortunately this pub decided to be discriminatory towards me telling me there was no exceptions and I could not order a child's meal. Shame on you!! You made me feel so unwelcome and awkward. Don't get me wrong the few staff whom I spoke with were lovely and clearly stressed from the manager barking at them. If your able bodied then this is fine as long as you don't have any dietary requirements.

Transport & Parking

2.5

There is limited on street parking with only a drop kerb at the end of the street, there's metal fences splitting the road from pavement with 3 steps, no regular drop kerbs.

Access

1.5

Very limited access, flat entrance but extremely small place. Very little signage. I couldn't see a lift, I was told the toilets were down a spiral staircase. No dietary accommodation
