Overview

I went to see The Warning at The Garage with my dad. My mum emailed the venue to get me in the accessible entrance which is around the back of the venue a week before the gig. Because of my Aspergers I requested the balcony but unfortunately it does not have a good view of the stage and I was given a stool to sit on which was not very comfy. The general public also can use the balcony as well.

Transport & Parking

4.5

My dad parked in Q-Park on Sauchiehall Street which is 0.4 miles away from the venue.

Access

The accessible entrance is around the back of the venue, so you don’t have to queue with everyone else.

Toilets

3

The balcony area isn’t just for accessible tickets so if you need the toilet you had to make your way through the crowds and go down the stairs, there were people standing on the stairs which is not very good for some people on the autism spectrum that doesn’t like large crowds having to get to the toilets. Maybe it is better in another accessible area on the lower level or maybe staff are able assist customers on another route to the toilets. I used the standard toilets in the venue so I can’t comment on the disabled toilets.

Staff

3

The staff were okay, but I wish the security was a bit better on the balcony.
