Overview
Had a fabulous night at this new Canterbury venue. There is a public car park nearby and the streets around have double or single yellow lines. Pavement outside is quite smooth and entrance is perfectly flat. Inside the decor is stunning -Japanese inspired - with cherry blossom over the bar and beautifully painted wall art. There are two floors with an easily accessible and usable lift. The ground floor has plenty of seating in refreshingly large booths-relatively easy transfer if you’re into that or plenty of room to bring a chair up alongside. There’s a small stage where different acts perform (burlesque, contortionists, magicians), a dance floor and a bar serving wonderful Japanese style cocktails. Upstairs there’s another bar and more seating as well as a karaoke booth and the dj desk. The disabled toilet is on the ground floor (radar key) and is plenty big enough. I was using a mobility scooter and didn’t feel at all restricted. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. It was so refreshing to have a really good night out with no nasty surprises of unexpected steps , raised thresholds or general inconvenience. Will be going back very soon.
