Overview
I had a chat with the Owner who was friendly and welcoming and spoke to me about wanting to make the venue more accessible. At present, entry if you are in a wheelchair is at the side rather than the front due to a few steps. Once inside everything I needed was on one level. It could possibly be improved by adding a bell to the entrance for assistance, either that or an automatic door. Inside it can get very busy and the only thing I would say is that when it is busy it is difficult to get to the accessible toilet easily. Maybe the tables could be spaced out a little more to gain easier access. The food is lovely.
Transport & Parking
There are no disabled parking spaces very close to the venue but all are within reachable distance. It is fairly close to a local bus route.
Access
Staff friendly and helpful. All amenities required were on level access. Could do with a little more room and possibly menus available in large print. The Owner mentioned that he was thinking about adding an automatic door, this was be a great use.
Toilets
Accessible toilet is good, but gaining access is a little tricky.
Staff
All were great, accommodating and friendly. Willows is also part of the 'safe place scheme'
