The Access Survey

The Access Survey by Euan's Guide and Disabled Access Day is the longest running survey of its kind in the UK. Every autumn and winter, we ask disabled people what's good and not so good about disabled access at the places they visit.

The most recent survey results are from the 2019 survey when over 1,000 disabled people, their families and friends shared their views. The results of this survey and previous Access Surveys can be downloaded using the links below!

In 2020 Euan's Guide delayed running their Access Survey due to the impact of Coronavirus. Instead Euan's Guide undertook a Covid consumer sentiment survey in June / July 2020 to understand disabled people’s intent and concerns around visiting places within the U.K. The survey was developed in partnership with VisitScotland. It looked at the concerns disabled people have about visiting places post lockdown, what precautions and actions will make it safer and easier for them to visit, where they plan to go, how they plan for their trip, and what activities they would like to see remain available in online formats.
