Overview

In a nutshell "nightmare" . I looked forward to staying at Whitby with my family, but found the town worse for access due to shops parading their wears blocking the pavement completely and forcing me to use the road in oncoming traffic. Narrow streets with Inaccessible shops and it would be nice to inform someone inside so nobody got my trade. Went down to sample food from the famous chip shop only to be confronted by the so narrow street pavement coming down from their front door which ended up me and my small power chair tipping off the curb directly in oncoming cars, kind people stopping vehicles whilst others helping me get back in my power chair. Injuries sustained I gave up and headed back to my home for the week. I've seen one other wheel chair user in Whitby I wonder why? if your able on your feet then you may manage better.
