Wildlife on wheels
This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Wheelchair, Powerchair, Mobility Scooter
Excellent accessibility to Peter Scott nature reserve featuring a birds of the world side with tarmac paths and close ups of the birds and a wild side which still has accessible hides and very good surfaces. Ignore 'unsuitable for wheelchair' signs on some paths, they are all fine.
Transport & Parking
By car, disabled parking right outside entrance
Flat surfaces everywhere, good paths
Two disabled loos with space for carer.
Friendly and helpful staff. The booklet with bird identifications and map is definitely good value and helpful.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Very well organised with current cafe feeling safe to order and take outs which you can drink/eat at numerous benches and picnic tables around site. Separate in and out and good distancing, limits on people in hides (2 in smaller hides, 4 in larger ones).
