Zizzi has a vegan and allergen menu and a few pasta dishes that are suitable for Dad's soft diet, making it one of the few places we can eat out as a family. 3 different seating areas, one of which is down a few steps, level entrance and accessible toilet.

Transport & Parking

There was a blue badge space right outside the entrance but the restaurant is located in a one way system and because it's on a corner we wanted to make sure we had a space and didn't have to go around again, so we parked just around the corner from it in a space that is loading only before 6pm.

Level entrance, all on the level except for about a third of the seating and the non accessible toilets. The tables are a bit closer together than is ideal, we visited on a Thursday evening when it was very quiet so this wasn't a problem. The menu was fairly small print but we didn't ask if they had larger print ones.

There are no signs directing you to the toilets and the accessible toilet is in a different place to the others. I didn't see the accessible toilet but Mum and Dad said there were handrails and they didn't have any problems.

The member of staff was OK, we had to ask for the allergen menu whereas I've been to other places that ask if you want one and I would appreciate being told where the toilets were as well, especially when they're not signposted. He was the only waiter on so that might have contributed to the overall impression, there were no problems but it felt like there was something lacking.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

The different rooms have different themes, e.g one has light shades made out of cups and saucers and another has a woods theme. /we will definitely visit a Zizzi again, there was more than one option each for Dad and myself and my Mum really enjoyed her meal, mentioning it for a few days afterwards. This Zizzi isn't local to us and I'm not sure when we'll be out this way again.
