Have you signed up to Disabled Access Day 2016?

Disabled Access Day 2016 aims to build on the success of the first ever Disabled Access Day which took place in January of this year. Euan’s Guide were thrilled to be the main sponsor of the event and to see how much public awareness was raised on the importance of disabled access. We can’t wait to take part in next year’s event which is on the 12th of March 2016.

If your venue is accessible, why not host an event to show off your disabled access? It could be as simple as a tour or a special discount on the day. Alternatively you could organise an event and invite local disabled people’s organisations to visit your venue. Taking part in Disabled Access Day is a great way to get more people to review your venue on Euan’s Guide.

We’d love to see more of our reviewers take part next year, too! It is a great excuse to be adventurous and go exploring somewhere that you have never been before. Or you could meet up with some friends and go on an adventure together. Whatever you decide to do, make sure you review the accessible places you find along the way!

If you need some inspiration, check out the Disabled Access Day 2015 Report which details what happened this year and how organisations can get involved next year. More information about Disabled Access Day can be found on their website.
