With an average rating of 5 stars, the Crowne Plaza comes highly recommended by visitors including two wheelchair users and two powerchair users. Reviewers were particularly happy with the facilities on offer in the adapted room which includes tracking hoists in the bathroom and a separate hoist crossing the bathroom. The adapted room also has a wet room, walk-in shower, wide entrance door and switches and emergency cords fitted at lower level. One reviewer said: “The fully accessible room on the upper floor is fantastic with amazing views. It’s a pleasure to stay in a normal looking, luxurious room which is completely accessible”. All the reviewers were happy with the staff, saying that “All staff were excellent and most helpful especially in the restaurant”.

Lots of space to move around and the bathroom was very accessible”. The bathroom functions as a wet room, and free accessible parking is available to the rear of the hotel.
