What's on in September
In September you have the chance to take part in lots of interactive events, including an art club and an adventure course. We’ve selected just a few of the interesting events taking place in September which are listed on our site. Kendal: Adult Adventure Course
Saturday 7th– Friday 13th September 2019
Have a go at archery and take the leap of faith on the zip-wire. This week-long course provided by Bendrigg Trust gives you the chance to try an array of exciting outdoor activities. Accommodation and food are included in the cost.
Hull: Quiet Day at The Deep Aquarium
Thursday 12th September 2019, 10:00am – 6:00pm (last entry at 5:00pm)
Take a more relaxing trip to the aquarium during the upcoming Quiet Day at The Deep. Over 5,000 animals call the aquarium home, including magnificent sharks and rays. Audio will be reduced, the lighting will be brighter than usual and presentations and shows will feature a BSL interpreter.
London: Meet Me at the Festival Arts Club
Tuesday 24thSeptember 2019, 10:30am – 2:30pm
Get your creative juices flowing while meeting new people. The Albany’s weekly arts club for older people is throwing its doors open and inviting visitors to take part in interactive workshops and creative skill sharing. This session is free and there is no need to book in advance.
