Bar Mleczny is in the Old Town, on Grodzka, a street near the Castle, on one of the main tourist routes that connects the Castle and the Town Square. It's a self service cafe, which offers cheap Polish food. Originally subsidised in the Communist era, one of a chain of dairy bars across Poland that served cheap fast food. The cafe continues to serve cheap food and is very popular with both locals and tourists.
Disabled Access In and Around
Excellent
The entrance had a very tiny step and was then step free. The restaurant is self service and there was a queue, that is why I have marked it down on access, as for me as a solo traveller it was quite difficult to manage this. There are free standing tables and chairs.

I walked there from my accomodation, however there are trams that stop near by.

Good
When I got to the counter to order, service was quick and efficient. I felt I was a bit on a conveyor belt and didn't want to hold anyone up. Carrying my tray with my crutch was a challenge as I looked for an empty table.
Additional Information
The cafe is very busy and popular. Do go in, there is a menu in English inside, see photo, and staff speak English. The food was plentiful, filling and tasty, and it's fascinating to experience something so authentic. You can eat well very cheaply and it's a good way to try Polish cuisine. Highly recommend, a little daunting when you first go in but join the queue and check out the English menu and enjoy the experience.
