Overview

We went to a WAV show run by Brotherwood mobility vehicle firm, which was situated in the grounds of the museum. When registering for the WAV show, we got free tickets to the museum. The museum was so interesting - starting with beautiful classic cars (works of art, that just happened to be transportation), luxury cars (old and new), some formula one cars, and cars from memory lane (eg Morris). We spent at least 2 hours looking around. The whole museum was accessible, and I was able to self-propel in my wheelchair, as all the floors were smooth. Because of the WAV show, there were a lot of disabled people on the site. No one appeared to be having any accessibilty difficulties. There was a cafe that could be reached by stairs or by a gentle slope.

Transport & Parking

We drove. Large car park with about 6 Blue Badge parks near the entrance, plus an overflow car park. Not sure about public transport links. Easy access from car park to museum.

Toilets

There were two excellent toilets by the museum entrance and cafe, and because of the WAV show, another two accessible toilets were also made available in the conference facillities. All had grab rails on either side of the toilet, as well as a vertical grab rail on the wall, and hand basin & drier in the cubicle. Didn't see a Changing places toilet.
