    Lawrence Batley Theatre

    About

Lawrence Batley Theatre is in the Yorkshire town of Huddersfield. We host a wide ranging year-round programme. We stage the best contemporary dance shows, quality touring dramas and top comedians. We host community musicals, great evenings of music and cabaret. And we bring the best family shows to Huddersfield. We are the creative heart of Huddersfield and a registered charity (No. 510693). We share exciting and entertaining stories. We support young people and nurture talented local artists. We welcome refugees and asylum seekers with open arms. Each year we host over 450 performances, workshops and events. More than 70,000 people enjoy our annual programme both in our theatre and within the community. Community is at the heart of what we do. Over 3,000 local people each year enjoy our creative sessions. Our sessions nurture confidence and promote pride in the community.
