Disabled Access Day 11 March 2017 10.00am – 4.00pm A day of multi-sensory stories, audio description and sensory play for all ages. Sensory Story: Mr Gumpy’s Motor Car 10:30 – 11:00am Art Since 1900 Gallery FREE Join us for this multi-sensory and tactile take on John Burningham’s wonderful story from the Mr Gumpy series. Through sounds, touch, movement and Makaton this story will come to life in our Art Since 1900 gallery. Face to Face: Audio Description Tour 11:30am – 12:15pm Gallery 1 FREE Take part in an audio described tour of our Face to Face exhibition, led by a member of our Learning Team. Through detailed descriptions and expert interpretation the portraits will be brought to life for our visually impaired visitors. Sighted companions and guide dogs are welcome. Sensory Play Days 1:00 – 2:00pm The Studio £1, parents/carers go free Explore our interactive sensory room and relax in an environment filled with tactile materials and designed for open-ended play.
