Overview

If you are looking for somewhere to stay that has easy access but is still a quaint old pub, this is the place. The staff were amazingly helpful and the room was so close to both the disabled parking and the pub. The wet room was perfect and they even supplied a doorstop - which is a bugbear of mine in most hotels. No longer will I be thinking I can only get easy access in large hotels!

Transport & Parking

The parking was fine.....but only a couple of disabled spaces. Probably OK for where it is, not likely to have lots of disabled visitors at the the same time.

Access

All access was on the flat - with a slope to the bedroom. You need someone to open doors for you - no automatic doors

Toilets

The loo was OK, fair amount of room. Only gripe - a bit cold as it was near an open door....brrr

Staff

Every staff member we had contact with was 'over and above' helpful

My recommendation comes as someone who has a disabled husband since a bad stroke in 2014. In that respect I would most definitely recommend this establishment to you. We will be going back for sure. It is in the middle of nowhere...a thatched cottage village - no shop, but we were happy as we were stopping for one night whilst heading south
