Overview

There are just a few access issues but otherwise The Sun is great. Food here is excellent - lovely to sit in the garden on a sunny day. Inside it's on two levels separated by steps. However both levels are accessible just not one directly from the other! The accessible loo is on the lower level. The car park has two disabled spaces but the fact that it is deep pea shingle makes it really hard to negotiate on foot or by wheelchair ( I had to be dragged backwards by wheelchair). However it's a short distance.

Transport & Parking

Buses are plentiful on the island though not sure how close they stop to the pub. There's a sizeable car park with two reserved disabled spaces right round the back. These are at the end closest to the garden, rear entrance, dining room and loo. However they're a long way from the front door if you wanted the upper level ie the bar.

Access

Access to the dining room, loo and garden is via the back door. The short distance from the car park is hampered by the shingle surface. Once in the floor is smoothe and level for the most part. However some changes in level between types of flooring or uneven flagstones, so care needed if on foot. There's room to manoeuvre a wheelchair. However two steps prevent direct access to the bar from this level. The front door looked accessible however I didn't go in. Note if using the bar, there'd be two steps down to the loo

Toilets

Easy to find. Well equipped though no alarm cord. No room to turn a wheelchair due to fixed baby changing unit. Functional and clean.
