Overview

The people at this resort were amazingly kind, helpful and understanding of our position. I had to use my manual but bought small skis for my front wheels which really made life so simple. The family run business is by a lake and the evenings the lights came out they took my husband & I by quad into the middle of the frozen lake so I got the best view ever. Such an excellent helpful company

Transport & Parking

We were driven by taxi but there was plenty of parking (if you were brave enough to drive on snow and ice laden roads) you could park near your chalet but we used all the bus and coach services available and they were increasingly kind and helpful. They worked hard to make sure i didn't miss a thing.

Access

I found the access amazing. My chalet had a ramp into it. There were no steps anywhere and my small front skis made it so easy to get around inn the snow and ice.

Toilets

They were accessible and each toilet had a shower head attachment (which I have at home!) To wash underneath but also clean out a stoma bag. A simple but perfect accessory.

Staff

The staff went well beyond anything I could have ever expected. When the lights were visable they came straight to my chalet knowing that my vision is going and I don't have an unlimited life span. As a family run business they did everything they could to enable me to see the lights. Putting me onto a warm rug laden trailer they pulled me behind the ski mobile into the middle of the lake (I checked the ice is a meter deep!) And I say and watched the beauty unfold. To top it all I saw a shooting star As well.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

If you want to see the northern lights or aurora borealis then this place is perfect. As a family run business they bent over backwards to make me comfortable. I felt very privileged and very looked after. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They were kind, polite and so incredibly thoughtful and helpful. Excellent resort. Very disabled friendly.
