Overview

Not just for fashionistas! Loved this museum which tells the story not only of Yves Saint Laurent but gives lots of background into the fashion world throught the ages too! It opened in the last few years so is very accessible - there are different galleries, an auditorium showing a short film to complement the museum and a fantastic cafe! It's also a welcome spot to escape the heat of Marrakech!

Transport & Parking

The museum is a little out of the centre of town - we got a cab. There are different types of taxis some of which are more spacious than others!

Access

Great! Signage was clear and easy to follow. There was step free access throughout. One of the galleries featuring the dresses had very low light so as to protect the fabrics. The cafe was also spacious and could move chairs round as needed.

Definitely visit! A great place to spend a few hours! And an absolute MUST for anyone who is even the slightest bit interested in fashion!
