Warm Spaces and Warm Banks
Disabled people, their friends, families and carers tell us they need to be able to find out where warm spaces are and what facilities are available. For example, they need to know about level access, accessible toilets, parking, public transport, hearing loops, sensory-friendly areas and more. But our community are concerned that warm banks will be created without considering their needs.
Venues
If you are operating a warm space this winter, please tell people about it and tell people about your disabled access.
We're generating a searchable directory of accessible warm spaces by encouraging all venues operating warm banks to list on Euan's Guide, it's free to do this and will take about 5-15 mins depending on the size of your venue. If you are a venue that already lists their information on Euan's Guide, please update your listing to show that you are operating a warm space.
List or Update your venue information
We have also produced guidance on how to make your warm space more accessible for disabled people.
