Volunteer Scotland - Volunteer Charter

At Euan’s Guide we really value the contribution that our volunteers make to our work  - we couldn’t do what we do without you!

People can volunteer and support us in a variety of ways including sharing your experiences of disabled access by writing a review of somewhere you have visited, helping promote Euan’s Guide at events and exhibitions, buddy reviewing and becoming a “Toilet Warrior” helping us make accessible toilets safer. This all helps make the world a more accessible place!

We’re proud to be a Volunteer Scotland Charter Champion, and our work aligns with their ten key principles which help to underpin good relations within a volunteering environment.

The Charter is open to any individual, group or organisation from any sector who either involve volunteers, or influence decisions on how volunteering is resourced or reflected in policy.

Volunteer Scotland believe that the charter supports the foundations for a good volunteer experience and gives individuals, groups and organisations the opportunity to express their support for the spirit of volunteering while upholding the principles of good volunteer practice.
