Great coffee, quiet vibe near station

200 Degrees is a cool, calm coffee spot close to New Street Station. They operate a coffee shop and a barista academy, so you know you are getting good coffee. This is a short bonus review, written while enjoying a Spanish Latte.

    Friendly Accessible Coffee House

Great first time visit. I'm a wheelchair user and I was nearby and after being unable to get access into two nearby coffee houses I came here and to my surprise, they had a ramp so I was really happy about it, bonus points! They we're very helpful and friendly throughout the whole visit, and at the end of the day your initial impressions of somewhere generally decide whether or not you'd return and mine were great, enough said! And beings as they've made suitable provisions for access, unlike their "close by" competitors, its even more reason to return. I was really quite taken also by the decor; There's a nice combination of dark wood and lovely bare brick walls, quite a classy grown up look about it. Prefer it too the casual unfinished look a lot of other places go for. Only had a flat white myself, a little stronger than some I've had but still I didn't need sugar. Could have perhaps been a fraction hotter, it was a decent temperature to drink but I wanted to drink it quite quickly other wise it would have gone cool. I tried a little bit of my friends chocolate brownie, it was a really rich dark chocolate, a very grown up brownie! As I said , first impressions count - I'll be returning next time I'm nearby!
