Venue Description

We are a mobile outdoor activity provider for disabled people of all ages and abilities based in the Cairngorms National Park.

Accessibility

Our activities use specialist equipment and approaches to make them accessible. We provide information on the nearest accessible toilets and changing places venues in relation to our activity sites. We offer canoeing, paddleboarding, packrafting, adaptive biking, guided wheelchair walks, climbing, abseiling and bushcraft. To transfer from wheelchairs to paddlesports we use transfer stools and the promove manual sling.

Awards List

We are part of the Adventure For All group for accessible outdoor providers in the UK as well as registered providers of disability training for the Scottish Canoe Association and British Mountaineering Council.

Toilets

There are accessible toilets at Glenmore Forest, Loch Morlich and Loch Insh. There is a changing places toilet in Tiso, in Aviemore.

Staff

All of our staff are trained in the use of the adaptive equipment. The equipment is the UK standard for all inclusive activities and manufactured by Equal Adventure. Some of our staff have BSL Level 1. All of our staff are flexible and patient in their approach to provide the right support to the individual and groups.
