Discover the history and heritage of Brixham. We have thousands of artifacts, with over 30 displays, all housed over two floors. Prehistoric, fishing, farming, railways, police station, World War I and World War II, Napoleonic forts, berry head-caverns, victorians, churches, boys home, William of Orange, skeletons, archaeology and much much more.

The Museum is dog friendly and welcomes all well-behaved dogs in addition to guide/assistance dogs There are toilet facilities for disabled visitors There is a ramp at the main entrance- Disabled visitors who cannot visit the 2nd floor are charged at a reduced rate and details of our displays are provided in a book and via a computer link. We can make a steward available to accompany visually impaired visitors
