Venue Description

Brixham Library has two meeting rooms, one suitable for four people and one for 14. Prices for the smaller room are £12.10, discounted charge for non-profit organisations £7.25, and for the meeting room £13.30 standard charge and £7.25 discounted charge. The rooms are on the first floor with lift access. The library and its meeting rooms are are welcoming space situated just around the corner from Brixham Theatre, and are fully accessible for visitors with disabilities. Staff are on hand to welcome and give any help needed. Some staff are trained to give extra support to those who are neurodiverse or who have Alzheimer's. There is free Wi-Fi throughout as well as PCs for public use. There is plenty going on in the library including Bounce&Rhyme sessions for little ones, Saturday Club, Stay and Play, Thursday Arts and Crafts Group, Woolpack Knitting and crochet Group and Poetry for Pleasure Groups. The library also runs a Books on Wheels service which is a joint enterprise with Brixham Rotary Club - a monthly batch of books is delivered to customers who cannot leave their homes.
