I booked a table via the website as it states that the restaurant is wheelchair accessible and also has a box to add text on booking to add that you need access (ironically the example given is for you to add 'wheelchair access' if that is your requirement.) It has no accessibility for wheelchairs.

Disabled Access In and Around

1) 1 step to get in the premises. I'm an active wheelchair user and was able to 'bunny hop' the step, many others may not and it is impossible for powerchairs. The lady serving behind the bar said they 'may' have a ramp for outside if needed. 2) There is a sharp left turn after the step 3) The tables are very close together, not passable unless people are moved

Parking & Transport

We walked 5-10 minutes from a public car park by the river Thames. There is no car park.

Accessible Toilets

Once inside, the toilets are up a high step. The member of staff stated that there was a 'disabled toilet' but as there is no way of accessing it, I have no idea as to whether there is one or not.

Staff

The one member of staff I I saw stated that she would 'tell the manager' that the website needs changing to remove the 'disabled accessible' statement.

Additional Information

This venue is NOT suitable to anyone using : 1) manual wheelchair 2) Powerchair 3) Scooter 4) Walking aid OR for anyone with visual impairment due to the tables being packed very closely together.
