A grand day out
Visit date:
Overview
Excellent value for money and a real treat from Whovians.
Transport & Parking
There are free spaces for blue badge holders next to the Norwegian Church which is very close to the venue. Cardiff Bay Car bus stops outside.
Access
There was a button for the electronic doors which wasn't working on the day I visited but a member of staff opened the door for me straight away. All parts of the exhibition are accessible. On the guided part of the tour the guide made sure I was at the front of the crowd at each stage.
Toilets
I didn't use this but it is very easy to find, in the foyer next to the restaurant.
Staff
Staff could not have been more helpful.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
I was concerned that there was no warning about the Weeping Angels section as one of the children was distressed. The platform inside the Tardis was very narrow so anyone who wanted to pilot the Tardis would not have been able to face the controls at 90 degrees. Other than that, it was all very accessible.
