Dove Cottage was the home of the poet William Wordsworth and his family between 1799 -1808.

We have been open to the public since 1891, offering guided tours of Dove Cottage and the Wordsworth Museum seven days a week. On Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 March we will be offering enhanced tours of Dove Cottage featuring extra audio description and sensory activities for all visitors.
