Disabled Access Day is to celebrate good access and create opportunities for people to try something new. The day is about highlighting the fantastic access that already exists at Edinburgh Zoo such as sensory experiences, level access, hearing loops and of course a warm welcome!

On the day we will be highlighting our Mobility Vehicle and ‘Sensory Experience’ in Budongo Trail. We will also have a BSL interpreter accompanying our daily talks programme and a hoist and trolley available in our reception area disabled toilets. (Please note: To ensure visitor comfort and safety, we ask that any visitor who would like to use the hoist, to please bring their own sling.)

As well as this be sure to keep an eye out for some very special guests making their way around the park!
