Overview

A fantastic little cafe serving lunches, afternoon teas and more in Falkirk's town centre. Surprisingly good access in an old, refurbished building.

Transport & Parking

Findlays is a short walk from Falkirk Grahamston train station and there are numerous pay and display car parks within a five minute walk. All of these car parks have several accessible parking spaces. You are unable to park on the road immediately outside the building however. For pedestrians, there are also plenty of crossings and dropped kerbs from the car parks, bus stops and the local train station.

Access

There are two entrances to Findlays which is part of The Hub, a large meeting and office space. The main entrance has steps leading up to the door, however there is a second entrance on the same side of the building just a few metres along that has a bell to alert staff. This is a wide, step-free entrance and will lead you into the main cafe. The cafe itself is rather small, but the furniture is all moveable and staff are more than happy to help. The main counter is quite high, but it is table service in this cafe. The cafe is light and bright with a very high ceiling, so despite the small space, it does not feel cramped.

Toilets

To access the toilets, it is again steps leading away from the cafe. However, wheelchair users may follow another corridor out of the cafe for step-free access. The accessible toilet is large, unlocked and very clean.

Staff

Staff couldn't be lovelier and were very attentive during our visit. They happily asked for feedback on our experience as they chatted to us.

The atmosphere in here is great, and the food is all fantastic! It is on the small side, but don't let this put you off as the staff are fantastic and will go out of their way to make it comfortable for you.
