Visible Cinema: RCS Curates Deaf Shorts is a creative collaboration between the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s BA Performance in BSL and English students, Glasgow Film Theatre and Glasgow Short Film Festival, promoting Deaf culture and championing Deaf-led/interest film. Drawn from open submissions to GSFF, this international showcase of contemporary Deaf-led filmmaking features films from Colombia, Bulgaria, India, Australia and the UK, and explores new awakenings and connections. Following the screening there will be a discussion led by Yuki Neoh and Kodi Shields.
This programme has Descriptive Subtitles for accessibility. There will be English/BSL interpretation and live captioning for the introduction and discussion.
