Movie Memories: All That Heaven Allows (U)
Movie Memories is GFT's dementia-friendly film programme, designed to enable people living with dementia to socialise in a safe and social environment. Everyone is welcome. All tickets are £3 (includes free refreshments and live music).
Two different social classes collide when Cary Scott, a wealthy upper-class widow, falls in love with her much younger gardener in one of director Douglas Sirk's best romantic melodramas of the 1950s.
Live music will start when the doors open at 10.30am and we will be joined at the interval by Freelance Film Programmer Rosie Beattie who will host a talk about melodrama on film.
